Due to possible safety concerns with romaine lettuce possibly being associated with E coli illnesses, we are temporarily removing all romaine lettuce from our program. We will substitute a dark green vegetable when salad is on the menu as a vegetable and we will use a green leaf bib lettuce along with spinach for the entree salads.

One of the most important ways to help children perform better in their classrooms is to provide them with the nutrition for the healthy growth of their minds and bodies.

Clarence students may purchase a school breakfast or lunch at a reasonable cost.  Beverages include a variety of low fat milk and 100% juice products.  Our program includes only healthy snacks.

All juice drinks and must have at least 50% real juice.  Water products are to have no added sugar or artificial sweeteners.

The District participates in the federally funded breakfast and lunch program and provides free or reduced price meals to qualified District students.  Information on this program is sent home with every child during the first full week of school.  Additional copies are available at each building.  Children participating in this program will not be identified.  Meals will be served to them in the same manner as they are to all students in order to maintain confidentiality.
