• Citizens' Advisory Task Force

    One of the established goals for the Clarence Board of Education in the 2013-14 school year was to convene a community committee to examine enrollment practices, potential capital improvements, and the potential for building consolidation. To that end, the Citizens' Advisory Task Force was created in November 2013 and charged with the following two tasks:
     
    • Examine enrollment trends in order to determine short term and longer term solutions on school building configurations that maximize fiscal efficiency and educational effectiveness.
    • Examine capital improvement needs in order to determine if a capital project is necessary and what the scope of the project should be. 
    Volunteers for the Task Force were solicited and the following members were chosen:

    The Task Force has scheduled monthly meetings, which are listed below:

    The Task Force will make recommendations regarding the two charged tasks to the Board of Education at the June 16, 2014, public meeting, to be held at the CHS Lecture Hall.
